HydroTrack Privacy Policy

Summary: HydroTrack stores all your data on your device. Nothing leaves your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.
Data We Collect and How It Is Used
Health & Body Data
HydroTrack requests read/write access to Apple HealthKit for the following data types:
- Dietary Water (read and write) — to log your hydration and read prior intake
- Body Mass (read) — to personalize your daily hydration goal
- Date of Birth and Biological Sex (read) — to adjust your goal for metabolic differences
This data is stored exclusively in HealthKit on your device and in HydroTrack’s local SwiftData database. It is never transmitted to any server, never shared with any third party, and never leaves your device.
Location Data
HydroTrack requests your approximate location to retrieve local weather conditions via Apple WeatherKit. Location is used in real time to fetch temperature and humidity data that adjusts your hydration goal. Your location is not stored, logged, or transmitted outside of the WeatherKit API call handled by Apple’s servers. See Apple’s privacy policy for details on how Apple handles that request.
Subscription Data
HydroTrack offers in-app purchases (monthly subscription, annual subscription, and lifetime access) processed entirely through Apple’s StoreKit and the App Store. We do not see, store, or process your payment information. Purchase records are managed by Apple.
Analytics
HydroTrack uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-preserving, anonymous usage analytics. TelemetryDeck collects no personally identifiable information and no data that can be used to identify you across apps or services. Signals are double-hashed before transmission. Data We Do NOT Collect
- No name, email address, or account required
- No advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- No third-party analytics (no Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar)
- No crash reporting services
- No data sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers
Data Retention and Deletion
All HydroTrack data is stored locally using SwiftData on your device. Deleting the app removes all HydroTrack data from your device. Data written to Apple HealthKit remains in HealthKit until you delete it manually from the Health app.
Children
HydroTrack is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
